[pyrepl-dev] It's one thing having people go and see a doctor because I said he was good, but it's another if people are actually taking pills because I kind of maybe thought they might be helping me.

I do write this blog for myself as well as for you guys, and so it's bound to be a bit self-centred I'm afraid, but I hope not too much. I admit, I gave up any nice sweet foods too and now I've got my confidence back, I have the odd glass of wine when the occasion calls for it and eat far too much chocolate. How were you diagnosed as having an overgrowth of candida?
But I really don't think I could cope with IBS and another health problem.
You mention both candida and the "Eat Right for Your Blood Type" diet, and I'm afraid I've never seen evidence that either of these things are really relevant to IBS.
I remember a post on a messageboard from someone who was convinved that colonics were the solution to all kinds of problems and were fantastic for IBS. viewed as a purely psychosomatic condition. and more of that, then anything I want.
It just means going back to old fashioned cooking, not being afraid to ask, or buying free from food available at most big supermarkets. I welcome the vitimin D theory - I will let you know.
And leeches were viewed as a cure for practically everything, so at least the little docs are making progress.
And the self-pity thing. All the best, and listen to your guts ! Lord I was so sick that first time!

To read the full article go to Medscape. She is the most practical and sympathetic doctor to be, and wants to murder all those doctors out there who say its in your head. privacy - it'll be great - ever optimistic! I suppose I can cope with the IBS itself.
I don't know if I could cope with any other chronic condition. Make way for the next generation, and let there be light! I am reasonably healthy, for a 77 yr.
I am, however, slightly worried. When I read something and it makes sense in the big scheme of things I try it.
A couple of weeks ago, there were a couple of articles around theblogosphere talking about how to disable the RFID chip in your newe-passport.
You'd think they could share this stuff out better. After I felt better I was retested and the antibodies were in the so-called normal range. I'm a bit baffled really. a yeast infection, etc.
And then she couldn't understand it when people suggested that her information might be a teeny bit biased. Then if you really believe in this whole evolutionary theory of our maladaptation to our modern life, then read "Eat Right for Your Blood Type.
